Rahman

Rahman

Rahman, who entered Malayalam cinema as a school student, is returning to it in uniform.
He was the school student infatuated with his teacher (Suhasini) in Padmarajan's "Koodevide". Rahman drew applause depicting the boy who hated the man (Mammootty) in his teacher's life. In the 1980s, Rahman put in a regular appearance in almost all the films of Mammootty and Mohanlal. He was fortunate to have acted with two of the greatest actors in Malayalam. He also had the best of directors guiding him in those days.
As Malayalis saw him as a kid brother, he never got roles where he could portray mature characters. He then moved on to Tamil films when they offered him such roles and then to Telugu cinema.
After a long gap, he is now coming back to Malayalam films as a police officer in Ranjith's "Black". Once again, his co-star is Mammootty.
